To say I love books would be an understatement. They enthrall me, to put it dramatically. There’s nothing better than curling up in a comfy
chair and getting lost in a good book–whether it’s just for a few moments or hour after hour until the last page has been turned. I’ll quote a library bookmark I once had, “Reading is fun!”
About the Title
One of my favorite movies, even as an adult, is Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Aside from the fact that it’s a wonderful story, I was always in awe (and a bit jealous) of the library the Beast gives to Belle. When Cogsworth and Luminere first tell Belle about the library it went a little something like this,
Cogsworth: Perhaps mademoiselle would like to see something else. We have exquisite tapestries dating all the way back to…
Belle: Maybe later.
Luminere: The gardens, or the library perhaps?
Belle: You have a library?
Cogsworth: Oh yes! Indeed!
Luminere: With books!
Cogsworth: Gads of books!
Luminere: Mountains of books!
Cogsworth: Forests of books!
Luminere: Cascades…
Cogsworth: …of books!
Luminere: Swamps of books!
Cogsworth: More books than you’ll ever be able to read in a lifetime! Books on every subject ever studied, by every author who ever set pen to paper…
Isn’t that how it feels sometimes? There’s more books out there than I’ll ever be able to read. Not that I want to read every book ever written, just the ones I find.
By the way, I’m Jessica.

I totally recognized the reference to the B&B movie– fun to see you confirm it here.
I don’t want to read every book in the world either. But I don’t even want to read every book I find
There are far too many at my finger tips and for now I’m trying to be focused.
(This is the year of the YA novel for me. Sounds mature, no?)
Your take on books about there will never be enought to read in my life time sounds exactly like me. They will have to dig me out of my house with all the books I have.
Love this blog. No, really…….LOVE.
