everyone-is-beautifulZookeepers WifeReally, there are. I just don’t know what to read or in which order. Here’s the books that are tempting me as they sit around my home: The Zookeeper’s Wife, The Kite Runner, and my current reading The Glass of Time by Michael Cox. I have The Tail of Emily Windsnap available to pick-up at the library too!

I’m also trying to find a copy of Everyone Is Beautiful by Katherine Center.  I keep hearing more and more good things about this book and it feels like a read I might need right now.

glass-time-michael-cox-hardcover-cover-artI picked up The Glass of Time last week at the library and it’s really good. Basically, it’s a Dickens novel. Some buried secret that will reveal true identities and put a wealth of money (or unknown relations) into the lap of the heroine. Even though it follows so closely tou1_kitrunner a Dickens novel, it’s still a good read. Mysterious and intriguing.

It’s a long book though. So far I’m on page 232 with 351 pages left. I might be able to have it done by the end of the week.

But I’m eager to read these other books as well. Which one should come first? The Zookeeper’s Wife or The Kite Runner?

These are some titles that have been floating around a random pieces of paper that I’d like to read. Sometime, just not this year–maybe. I figured I should compile the list before I lost those floating pieces and wondered just which books they were.
